This is an accessible and supportive 12 month supervised pathway involving nine full training days (first half of the programme), and supervision during delivery of mindfulness interventions in the second half of the training period. The training is primarily experiential including group and individual elements. The trainers are experienced practitioners who are supervised by Bangor and Oxford University mindfulness centre supervisors.
The PTP provides the foundations for readiness to deliver evidence based mindfulness interventions and for seeking registration with the UK Network for Mindfulness Teachers.  During the programme participants will be given guidance on submitting their application for registration with the UK Network and supported to attain the levels of competency outlined in the UK mindfulness network Good Practice guidelines.

Safeguarding-Service Users Profile

Source By: Hackney CVS

The City and Hackney Safeguarding Adult Board is committed to increasing awareness of safeguarding amongst service users.

It is important that service users know their rights and where to get help if they are concerned about safeguarding for an adult at risk of harm or abuse.

Many voluntary orgnisations bring service users together to discuss their needs. Hackney CVS has safeguarding champions that hold awareness sessions out of hours at a time that suits smaller organisations.

We would like to;

  • Put together a list of Service user led groups
  • Reach parts of the community who need to know more about Adult safeguarding
  • Offer our 90 minute Safeguarding Awareness session to your service users – Daytime, evening or weekend
  • Ensure your views and concerns are addressed and heard
  • Find out whether you are interested in being a safeguarding champion

Please find a link below to an online survey. We hope to find out more about your role, support needs of your group to protect adults from harm and abuse in City and Hackney.
