Parenting Groups Workstream of the CAMHS Alliance Project

As part of the Parenting Groups Workstream of the CAMHS Alliance Project we are trying to map out which parenting groups are being run or have been run in the past year in Hackney through different services.

We have devised a REALLY SHORT Survey (3 minutes) directed to any service that delivers or has delivered parenting groups.

We would appreciate if you could answer and/or forward the survey to any service you have knowledge of.

Do you want to learn to speak English?

Do you want to learn to speak English?

The ESOL Advice Service works with lots of ESOL organisations in Hackney to help you to find a suitable class. You can register for a FREE* English class by coming to one of the ESOL advice sessions below. A teacher will check your English speaking, listening, reading and writing and then help you to find a class which fits around you. Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available. There are also classes with crèche for your baby. Everyone is welcome.

To register or for further information, please come to one of the advice sessions listed in the leaflet and image below. Please come in time for a ticket and bring a pen.

Plan your journey to an advice session using GoogleMaps: ESOL Advice Venues

Advice sessions run from the last week of September to the last week of June each academic year

There are no advice sessions during school holidays and we are also closed for 4 weeks from the second week of December.

The number and type of free classes available to you depends on eligibility.

Hosting an ESOL advice session at your centre

If your organisation works with a group of people who could benefit from an ESOL course, and assessment at your venue would be more appropriate, we can arrange to carry out an advice session on-site. If you think this service could be useful and would like to know more, please see our On-site ESOL Advice Guidelines. The service is free.
