£2,500 to improve access and opportunities for employment , education and training

Allen & Overy Ben Ogden Memorial Fund

The Ben Ogden Memorial Fund has been established by Allen & Overy in memory of Ben Ogden who was on his way to becoming a very successful solicitor. He passed his Legal Practitioners Course with flying colours and at the end of his two year training contract with Allen & Overy he was taken on in their employment and pensions department. It was during his qualification break that he tragically died in the Nepalese air crash on 28 September 2012.

East End Community Foundation is distributing grants of up to £2,500 on behalf of the Allen & Overy Ben Ogden Memorial Fund to improve access to and opportunities in education, employment and training for residents in the London boroughs of Hackney and Tower Hamlets.

Celebrating participation in healthcare community grants – apply now

NHS England will be awarding grants of up to £2,000 to a number of voluntary sector projects that showcase good practice around patient and citizen participation in healthcare. 

In your application you'll need to tell us about how you have involved patients and citizens in a healthcare project, and how you plan to use the grant to share and showcase your work in a creative way.

The grants can only be awarded to a voluntary organisation. Please ensure you read the guidance document before you apply, to check that your organisation and project is eligible. If you are eligible you will need to complete the application form by 31 October 2017.

Please note you cannot save the online application and return back to it. You may want to cut and paste your answers from a saved document. Apply now.

 This is the lessons from a few incidences where services have not communicated in the best way to safeguard residents. Thses lessons are very importnat for any Voluntary Sector group working with people with health and social care issues, with people at risk of self neglect or with memtal health capacity issues.
